If this precaution is neglected, «.no particles .vi.l gradually become larger, and the miserable suffering caused by Gravel or Stone wi.i Stones are usup.liy formed in the kidneys, and descend thence *nto tlie bLidder. They are composed of uric acid, or of oxalate of lim9 ; solid matter which oiionld bb held in solution in the fluids of the body, and be passed off in a dissolved condition, m the urine. Uric acid stone is by far the commonest kind. . t . When a stone is formed in a kidney great pain in the loins is foifc, and j ins • ;omf ; agonising when the stone leaves the kidney and passes through one di «*'io usvrrf »v channelsle iding to the bladder. The pain then experienced is known as Kidney Colic. It ceases when the stone reaches the bladder Once in the bladder, the stone may be passed off with tne urine, or it m V 7 remain and become larger by the accumulation of deposits. Sometimes a stone will for n in the bladder by the simple gathering together of particles oi' gravel. Persons of all ages rnay suffer from stone or gravel. Jd/eu Utile children are not •xempt. When a stone formed in the kidneys is too large to pass lln' ingii the passage leading into the bladder, the passage becomes closed, dropsy sets in, and the patient may die in a few hours. : . When atones remn-in long In the bladder they grow to a great, size, sometimes as large as an orange, and, they frequency have to he cut out. The following symptoms indicate stone or gravel in the kidneys or bladder: Painful itching sensation; swelling of the seat, of pain; cram oo in ’h- legs tnd scrotum; bearing down sensation in rectal region ; escape of watfrr, involuntarily. in drops; great agony succeeding successful urina’ion, paroxysms of pain ffom k ineys to bladder—“ kidney colic ” ; pain and difficulty in urinating, wi*.h sudden sfcn-^tges. Treatment.—The only rational method of treatment tor ilns disease, is fc-» correct the.action of the kidneys, thereby removing the cause. In a healthy condition of the kidneys and urinary system the water holds the solids i-n solution unu» it escape* from th 9 body. In disease the solids are deposited in the kidneys and Warner's Safe Cure reptores to. the kidneys their natural action, relieves congestion, heals tho wounded and bleeding mucous’membranes of the urinary system, dissolves the stones alreauy formed, and prevents farther formation. 'Warner’s Safe* Cure is the only v. mciu in tnc world which has this power, and if the case is amenable to any medicinal form of treatment* ill will ultimately effect a cure. BLADDER DISEASE. Inflammation or Catarrh of tho Bladder (Cystitis) is usually due to long retention of urine; the effect of irritating drugs; stricture; enlargement of the prostate gland; irritation caused hy stone or gravel, or by the careless use of a catheter ; exposure to cold; decomposition of urine caused by its retention, etc. There are two forms of this complaint—Acute and Chronic the latter being peculiar to elderly people. It is commoner in winter than in summer ; in cold than in warm climates ; in males than in females. It is always dependent upon some obstruction to the flow of urine, or upon a diseased condition of the urinary organs The Bladder not being entirely emptied, the water retained decomposes. The kidneys are generally seriously involved in the mischief, tho catarrh being usually a secondary symptom of . disease of the kidneys, and unless these are restored to th jir natural condition a cure cannot be effected. Warner’s Safe Cure corrects the unnatural condition of the kidneys, prevents ihe formation of pus and mucus by healing the inflamed membranes, and causes the water to become normal. 9 V treatise containing many letters from people who have been cured of Stone. Gravel, and Bladder Disease will bo sent post free by H. H. Warner and Co., Ltd., Aostralosian Branch, Melbourne.
