HOCKEY.

The hockey matches set down for decision to-morrow finish the games for the second round. It will be interesting to note the result of these matches, the points being so fai* fairly even. The games are: No. 1 ground, Te Kan v. Kia Kaha.Mr. Saddler, referee ; No. 2, West End v. City, Mr. Pavitt, referee. Before these matches start the ladies’ match. Past v. Present Reps., postponed from last Thursday, will be played, play tp start at 2 p.m. At Victoria Domain yesterday a hockey match was played between the Gisborne school girls and the Convent girls, which resulted in a win for the Convent girls after a hard-fought game bv 1 goal to nil. Mylee King scored for tlie Convent team. Mr. Olsen controlled the game, and _ instructed the girls in the finer points of the game.
