LONDON, June 24. T. E. Hammond walked from London to Brighton and back a distance of 104 miles, in 18 hours 12 minutes 7 seconds, beating his previous record by 2 hours 18 minutes. Recce’s brea'k at billiards has now reached 262,135, and lie is still in play. . Olloy cycled 1000 miles by road in 105 hours 3 minutes, beating the record by 8 hours 57 minutes. Arniaud Massey won tho golf championship covering four rounds of eighteen holes each in 312 strokes.
