Following is a return of the revenue collected at the local Custom House for the week:—Customs duty £444 3s lOd lighthouse dues £23 11b sd, Harbor Board revenue £BS 4s od, shipping fees £3 6s 9d, other receipts 15s 6d, total £557 Os lid. For the month of Juno: Spirits £1386 10s 6d, cigarettes £65 12s 6d, tobacco £360 6s 6d, wines £llß 3s /d, beer £lßo 6s, sugar £65 6s Bd, goods ad valorem £450 13s 6d, goods by weight £lB9 3s 4d, other duties £44 ss, total £2865 7s 6d; the excise duty on beer was £lB 17s 6d. For tlie corresponding period last yoar the amount collected was £2187 7s 3d. For the quarter: Spirits £4320 12s sd, cigars and cigarettes £763 5s Bd, tobacco £ll9O 10s 6d, wines £329 2s 3d, beer £391 ss, cocoa £6 ss. sugar £630, goods by weight £542 17s 4d, goods ad valorem £1783 16s Id, other duties £lO4 3s 6d, total £10,061 17s 9d; tho excise duty on beer was £207 12s 6d, lighthouse dues £l9B 6s 3d, Harbor Board revenue £584 3s 6d, Bmpping fees £26 7s, other receipts £3 10s 6d, total revenue for qunrter £ll,Oßl 16s 6d. , The Custom duties Bhow an increase of £2312 7s Bd, and the total rovenuo an increase oi £2461 8s 6d over the amount collected for the corresponding quarter last year.
Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Saturday. The Customs revenue for the June quarter was the highest yet received at Now Plymouth. This is remarkable since the returns for this quarter are usually the lowest in the vear. The total was £9795 8s 9d, as against £7lOl 0s 6d for the June quarter of last year.
