SCHOOL BATH SOCIAL.
The Committee for the School Bath Social met. last evening in tTie Borough Council Chambers. Favourable reports from the various sub-committees were received and final arrangements were made for the Social which is to be held on Thursday and Friday evenings next. The tickets are reported to be selling well. The floor was never in better condition. The plan adopted in previous socials for the custody of clothing is to be adopted again this year.
The room will be divided into bays again as at last year’s social to enable partners to find one another easily. Mr. Ormond has undertaken to nut tlio floor in order with his motor car. The room is to be decorated with flags and greenery. The City Band will provide the music, and the extras wil lbe played by Miss Moore’s band, wlio have kindly volunteered their services for tlio two evenings. The tickets for the children’s night are to bo issued at onco.
The sympathy of the elements is al that is required to make the socia! an unqualifled success.
