The Aotiia Maori Land Board has been doing some good work lately in the settlement of tlie formerly unopened lands of this district (says tnp .Wanganui Herald) and tho opinion was- expresed on Saturday that if the native land problem had been tackled in the same manner as the Aotea Board is dealing with it, it would have ceased long ago.
