EMPEROR ASKED TO ABDICATE.
> KOREA’S MONARCH IN TROUBLE. United Press Association- —Copyright Received Julv 18, 9.40 p.m. SEOUL, July 18. The Premier of Korea . has asked the Emperor to abdicate in favor of he Crown Prince, owing to his action in sending a deputation to Tno* Hague Convention. The Premier suggested that the Emperor should! go to Tokio and apologise. The Emneror has made no definite, reply tohe suggestion, and it is unlikely that he will do so without a struggle. TOKIO, July 18.
Viscount Hayashi, Minister for Foieign Affairs, has sailed for Korea.
