The team which represented Australasia- in tlie great victory thus secured was:-—Norman Brookes (Australia) Anthony Wilding (N.Z.), Dr. Sharp and Doust (Australia). By his success in winning the English singles championship and defeating all-com-ers in the Davis Cup competitions. Brookes has proved himself the finest lawn tennis player in the world today, and the New Zealand reprosen- , tativo has also shown himself capable oi holding his own amongst the lead- . ing exponents of the game.
