THE DUNEDIN TRAGEDY.
A VERDICT OF TEMPORARY INSANITY. Press Association. IMJNEDIN. August 4. At the inquest held to-day oil the body of Ambrose Phillips Who was killed on Friday evening at Caversham by being run over by a railway train, a son-in-law of deceased gave evidence that for-the last Bor 10 days deceased’s mind was unhinged. At times he was peculiar and it was also stated that on the day of his death deceased acted in a peculiar manner A verdict was returned that- deceased met his death by throwing himself m front, of a railway train in motion and that he did so while suffering from temporary insanity.
