Turkey and Persia have each given a pledge to punish their own officers, if found guilty. Oil t-lie other hand it is. announced in Teliera-n that Prince Firme, the new Governor of Azerb-Aig-an, has raised at his own expense 10.000 men in readiness to proceed to the frontier. Tlie Prince refused Parliameiit’s offer of £15,000 towards the initial expense of the expedition.
