The Union Co.’s s.s. Talune arrives from Southern por.ts early this moaning. and sails for Auckland. First launch, 6 a.m., last launch, 9 a.m. The following have booked passages: Miss R. White. Messrs Walton, Steggall, Miller, Mellroy, Leask, Love, Davis, Selwyn, DeLautour, Burns. The Union Co.’s s.s. Squall left Napier yesterday afternoon for Auckland via East Coast ports. The Hudda rt-Parker Co’s s.s. Zealandia arrives from Sydney and Auckland this afternoon, and proceeds to Napier in the evening. Last launch, 5 o'clock (meantime). The following have hooked passages: Miss AVilliamson; Mesdames Veitcli, Gtiller and infant; Messrs. Sandtmann, Galbraith, Furby, Brown and two children, Allen, Veitoh, McHugh. The Union Co.’s s.s. Haupiri leaves Auckland for East Coast ports and Gisborne on Wednesday. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s s.s. Toroa leaves Wellington on Friday for Napier and Gisborne. The auxiliary schooner Kaeo leaves Auckland to-morrow for East Coast Bavs and Gisborne.
Captain En.twi.stle has taken command of the s.s. Wim-mera at Sydney in place of Captain Wylie, who is on holiday leave. Captain Dunsford, late of the Westralia, in the meantime takes charge of the Zealandia. The Union Co.’s t.s. Afaheno will not he able to make her usual trip to Sydney via Cook's Strait owing to an accident to her centre stern tube. The Mokoia takes up the running, leaving here on Wednesday, 21st, and proceeding to Sydney.
