She will not be sent, as it was arranged, to take up the Malieno s Running, but the AVaikare will bo withdrawn from the East Coas»t service and despatched to Sydney, via AA ellington, in her stead. . Tlio scow Zingara arrived here at 2.30 yesterday morning, after a stormy passage, lasting three weeks from N-gunguru. Her cargo consisted or 170.000 ft of timber and some houseblocks. As the Zingara was being towed up the river two hours before high tide she grounded in the centre of the stream, opposite the wharf. Messrs. Richardson and Co.’s s.s. Ruru leaves Napier on Monday for Gisborne, via AVhangawehii, and returns via Mahia ports. Messrs. Richardson and Co. s s.s. Toroa left Wellington yesterday for Napier and Gisborne. By Telegraph.
