MONTGOMERY’S ENTERTAINERS.

This company which commences a lour nights season on Wednesday next, have received high praise from Southern contemporaries. The Wanganui Chronicle of Tuesday last says: •‘The great sculling race lor the championship of the world, Webb v. Towns, was pourtrayed on the sci'ecn in a very realistic manner. The picture is a magnificent one, and depicts the crowds of people on tho banks, and the ferry boats and launches flitting about ou tlie famous Parramatta River. This is undoubtedly the best picture wo have had tho pleasure of sooing so far, and we would recommend any ol' our readers who have not yet soon it to take this opportunity of doing so. Mr. Montgomery, wo understand, sent a special man to Sydney to take tho sculling race, and several of tho principal All Blacks’ football matches. Tho Webb-Towns picture was taken from a specially chartered launch, tho only cinematograph which followed tho race. The All Blacks were shown hard at work in their first test match with Australia, showing tho huge concourse of 52,000 people.” Seats for tho Gisborno season may now bo booked at W. Miller’s.
