ROTORUA TRAIN ACCIDENT
FAULTY ENGINE HINTED AT. Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 27. The inquiry concerning the Rotorua train accident was continued today, when evidence was given by Clifford Dick, train examiner, that lie made the usual inspection before tho train started on its fateful journey and found everything in working order. Thomas Cooper, driver of the second eiigiuc, was examined at great length. Witness said lie had ail idea as to the cause of the trouble, because tho engine had broken down since, the valve yoke lisjving broken through an old flaw. The inquiry was further adjourned till to-morrow.
