TUESDAY, AUGUST 2G. (Before Mr. W. A. Barton, S.M.) Drunkenness. —-Michael McLaughlin was charged with being found drunk and was convicted and fined 10s, costs 2s, in default 48 hours’ imprisonment.—A first offender was dealt with in the usual manner. Indecent Act.—-Michael McLaughlin was further charged with committing a grossly indecent act, and was convicted and sentenced to 4 days’ imprisonment.—Edward Jones, for_ a similar offence committed at Te Karaka was sentenced to 48 hours’ imprisonment).
