AIR. PECKOVER AND “THE SIGN.”
[To the Editor.] Sir,- —In reply to the highly interesting and amusing effusion of the estimable Air. Peekover, published in to-da.v’s “Times,” I can only assure Air. Peekover tint I am possessed with a deep sense of gratitude to him for jmblisliing the article complained of in your valuable paper, thus giving it a far wider publicity than could he obtained through any parish magazine. His opinions of the article in question do not in the slightest degree concern me. 1 am quite content to laive it to the judgment of your readers, Who are intelligent and unbiassed. —Yours, etc., L.
