Tlie Tyser Co.’s Star of Scotland left Napier at 11.20 yesterday morning, and arrived in Gisborne at 8 o’clock last evening. Slie loails equal to 10,COO carcases of frozen mutton at this port. The Union Co.’s s.s. Koonyn arrived at Napier at 6 o’clock yesterday, where she will discharge the balance of her cargo of coal. . The auxiliary schooner Kaeo, which arrived from Auckland, via East Coast bays, on Tuesday afternoon, experienced some rough weather during the voyage. Captain Skinner reports leaving Auckland with fair winds, having a full cargo and a few passengers. After rounding Oreti Point on Sunday night they encountered westerly winds. The wegither being too rough to l work Cape Runaway, they proceeded to Qmaio, Te Naha, and other ports, returning to Cape Runaway on Eridny. After discharging cargo there the weather became bad, so they came on to Hick’s Bay, where they sheltered in company with the Kereru, Coronation, and the Rambler. On Tuesday morning the J'jieo came on to Te Araroa, where the sea was too rough to work. The launch succeeded in getting ashore. They worked Tokomaru, Port Awamii, and the ports in between, and then returned to Tokomaru, and finished there, on Saturday night. Worked Waipnra and To]aga Bay on Sunday, and Waihau on Monday. They then returned to Tolaga Bay and sheltered there until Tuesday morning, and arrived hero at 4 p.m. The cargo for this port is 80 tons general and 10 bales of wool. The Kaeo is expected to sail on Saturday for East Coast bays and Auckland.

The barque Hazel Craig anchored in the roadstead last night. She is in charge of Captain Savory. ‘She left Newcastle on the 2nd hist., doing the trip in about eight days, which is a fast passage. She will come in on the morning’s tide. The Gisborne Sbeepfarmer.s’ Koitare was expected to arrive from AVhangarei and Nguo.guru with a shipment of timber for the works. When she completes discharging her cargo she will he despatched to Napier for shingle and limestone. Transhipments ex Bucontaur arrived by the Zealamlia last evening, including 1240 bags of oats. She also brought transhipments ex Wakanui from London.
