(Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 23. To-day’s call of tho Stock Exchange (says the Rost) opened and closed rather flat. At all event's there was a noticeable lack of buoyancy. Improved Talisman scrip was transferred at £2 7s, with a further tendency to harden. Wailiis were quiet, scrip being offered at £8 14s. Reports of an expert nature have boon received locally, and the effect of tho “creep” is quite minimised, but it has undoubtedly pressed quotations even in the face of the record crushing just announced.
