[Extract from New Zealand Guzotto, 12th Sept., 1907.] LANDS TAKEN FOR A ROAD IN TUAWHATU 2818, 481, 482, AND TOKOMARU IB BLOCKS, BLOCKS 111. AND IV., WHANGARA SURVEY DISTRICT,COOK COUNTY. (L.S.) PLUNKET, Governor. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are quired to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1905,” for a certain work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in' Blocks 111. and IV., Whangara Survey District: And whereas the Cook County Council has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunkett, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exeroise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1905,” and of every other power and authority in anywise, enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purpose of the said road.

SCHEDULE AH in tlio Hawke’s Bay Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and colored as above memfcioned, and deposited i n the office of the Chief Engineer of Roads, at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
