Mr. R. G. Ha lb more presided over the annual meeting of the United Club held on Wednesday evening. Tlie report and balance-sheet were adopted. Tho following new members were elected:—F. S. Sharp, Chas. Chapman, C. It. Sainsbury, R. Coop, B. Jeffreys, 11. P. Tucker, H. L. Tucker, E. F. Porter, Caplin, J. Campbell, J. Carswell, and Babs. The following officers were elected. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Judge Jones; president Mr W. Pot tie; vice-presidents, Messrs W. D. Lysuar, A. W. ltces, Colonel Winter, R, Theiwall, W. E. Goffe, R. Johnston, IV. F. Cederwall, and F. Harris; secretary and •treasurer, Mr. H. Whyte; captain, Mr R. G. Hallamoro; deputy-captain, Mr. J. Gardiner; committee, Messrs W. Gibson, H. E. Hill, and officers ex-offioio: delegates to Association, Messrs H-all-a-more and IV. Gibson: auditor, Mr. H. Dodd ; selection committee, captain, deputy-captain, anil IV. Gibson. It was resolved to write .to the Association urging that a caretaker be appointed to look after the grounds oil at least two days a week. The Association is also to be asked to allow the Club the use of the ground on Saturday week for tho purpose of holding a match among members to test the Club’s talent.
