P -ess Association. AA’ELLINGTON, Oct. 16. A middle-aged man named .las. McAllion was remanded to tlie 23rd insit. oil a charge of attempted murder. When accused was before the Court a day or two ago lie was charged with having fired a loaded revolver* at Thomas Smith with intent to do grievous bodily harm. This charge is now superseded by the more serious one.
