AURIFEROUS SAND.
LEADS TO MORTAR BEING CYANIDED.
United Press Association—Copyright (Received 9.14 p.m., Nov. 11.5 SYDNEY, Nov. 11. In connection with an old building 'bemg dbrhblished at Parlces, the mortar is being cyanided in order toextract gold from the auriferous sand used. -It is believed a yield of four dwts to the ton will be obtained.
