At the Presbyterian Assembly a Jotter was read ’ from tlio Premier, stating that the Railway Department could not make any special concessions in the way of reduced fares for members. The Rev. Dr/ Gibb said it was evidently necessary that they should be “actors, concert singers, or variety artists” to entitle them to any concession from the Railway Department. A voice: Or footballers.
