SPLENDID NEW FLAXMILL.

OPENING CEREMONY. Press Association. - . PALMERSTON N., Nov. 17. A new flaxmill at Makerua, near Shannon, was opened by the Seifert Co. on Saturday in the presence of the Hons. McNab, Duncan, and other members of Parliament and representative business men. Speeches were delivered by Messrs McNab, Duncan, Greenslade, Laavry, Ileke, Field, and Hogg, congratulating the company on their magnificent enterprise. -The mills are the largest in the Dominion, equipped with modem machinery and every convenience for 150 workers, and cover 300 acres.
