The House passed the Estimates unamended, and then adjourned at 2.50 n.m. until 10 a.m. on Monday, when private and local Bills will bo considered. GALLERY NOTES. (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 17. It AT LAV AYS CLASSIFICATION. Several members of Parliament have received telegrams from juniors .in the railway servico as the result of the alleged inspired message from some.ono in the head office, who is endeavoring to get pressure to bear to prevent the abandonment of the Railways Classification’Bill. END OF THE SESSION. Several. members of both Houses left for their homes on Saturday, and some others intend leaving on Monday. It is now evident that the Premier’s optimistic forecast of a few days ago regarding the legislation to bo passed will not be fulfilled. A determined effort is being made to bring tho session to a close on Thursday or Friday morning.
