SEDDON NATIONAL MEMORIAL.
ONLY £765 IN GENERAL FUND. Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 18. The general committee of the Seddon National Memorial Fund met ■to-dliy. The interim report showed that the amount in hand is £765. Several subscriptions have yet to come in, and there is £4OO collected by railway servants throughout the Dominion, which, it is expected, will shortly he handed over to tlio committee.
The committee regretted that the sum subscribed throughout the Dominion was so small, though this is •partly due to the fact that local memorials have been established. A sub-committee was apxioinited to close accounts.
