Ait the Supreme Court to-day Thomas Robert o’Callaghan was acquitted on a chlarge of arson. Wiliam, Fred Eibortand, convicted of entering with intent to commit a crime, was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. WELLINGTON, Nov. 20. At the Supreme Court ‘to-day Robert Humphries, aged 63 years, was sentenced to three years’ imprisone nicailt on a charge oif indecent assaiulit o-n a- littfe girl. At tlie Supremo Court to-dViy Frederick Nicolous was found guilty of forgery and uttering and obtaining goods by false pretences. Ho was remanded till to-morrow for sentence. Emily Holland, a domestic servant, charged with forging the name, of her employer to a. cheque for £2 10s, was found not guilty.
