MIIS. BUCKERIDGE’S CONCERT.
An excellent programme is promised for iho complimentary concert to Mrs. Buckorklge, wlio is about to leave on a trip to England, at His Majesty’s Theatre on Considerable interest attaches to the appearance of Miss Tyke,-who is making her debut on the concert jilatfornij and wllio is said to possess moro than ordinary vocal powers. The full list of items to bo rendered will bft announced in a few days. In the past Mrs. Buckoridgo has always been ready to give her services'when called upon, and in view of her popularity there can bo no doubt that there will bo' a bumper house at flio concert. Tickets for the concert can bo obtained at Miller’s and Chrisp’s.
MADAME MELBA’S CONCERT. TRIBUTE TO A WELLINGTON MUSICIAN. (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 26. Mr. Percy Whittle, son of Mr. Whittle, of the Wellington staff of tho Bank of Now Zealand, has been engaged ‘as accompanist by Madame Melba for the concerts she is to. give in Melbourne and Sydney.
