Mr. Augustine Birrell, Secretary for Ireland, speaking at 13 el last, referring to the lawlessness ill Ireland, declared that in view of the disposition cf Parliament anyone contributing to disorder and encouraging the people to commit crime was not a friend, but an enemy, of Ireland. The Irish League stopped tlie Ormond hunt. Correspondents report- that poison has also been laid in the country where the Kildare hounds hunt. Several hounds were poisoned during the last meet near Tallow, and two of them died.

There wa6 a special mass in the cathedral at Cork and a street procession, including the Lord Mayor and a majority of the trade guilds,--and political organisations, to commemorate the execution of the Manchester Fenians. At a meeting it was resolved to propagate Fenianism, and to appeal ito Irishmen to boycott- English manufacturers, disregard the law, and secure separation from England.
