FORGING IN MILLIONS.
PRESIDENT OF CHICAGO BANK CHARGED. TAKES FUNDS FOR SPECULATION. United Press Association—Copyright (Received 10.5 p.m., Nov 26.) NEW YORK, Nov. 26. During the trial of John R. Walsh, founder and president.of the Chicago National Bank, evidence was given to the effect that the Bank assets included a million pounds in notes bearing forged signatures of men of good standing. These men testified - that they had not signed notes and were unaware of their existence. The prosecuting attorney charges Walsh with forging signatures to obtain funds for speculation.
