A MURDERER EXECUTED.
FOR THE MURDER OF HIS SWEETHEART. A CASE OF JEALOUSY. United Press Association—Copyright '(Received 10.50 p.m., Nov. 26.) SYDNEY, Nov. 26. George Tolft was executed at Tamworth to-day, for the murder of his sweeetlieart, a girl named Fletcher, at Quirindi on July 291 h. Death was instantaneous. [A man named George-Tolft, while under the influence of liquor, visited the home of his sweetheart, a girl named Fletcher, and they quarrelled. Ho induced the girl to accompany him to the rear of the house, where he shot her twice, and, in addition, battered in her head. Meeting an acquaintance, Tofft said he bad done for tlio girl. He added that he v anted to ‘kill her father, then have a feed, and do for himself. JeaUusv was the cause of the tragedy.}
