BUSINESS NOTES.

At the Lowe-street Mart to-diy, at 1.30 sharp, Alessrs. Malcolm and Co. will auction a large entry of household furniture and sundries. Alessrs. Aliller and Craig, “tho popular auctioneers,” will hold a sale of ladies’ and gentlemen’s b'ey. dies at 2 o’clock on Friday, in their new premises, next to Dustin’s. The bicycles are all high-grade English machines, samples, fitted with all accessories. The bicycles will be on view at tho firm’s auction rooms from 10 a.an. to-morrow, and inspection is invited.

A good general servant is wanted. A. sale of English-built bicycles will be held at Alessrs. Malcolm and Co.’s Mart,- Lowe-street, on Saturday, at 1 o’clock. The bicycles were landed in error at Gisborne, and are :to be cleared. Further details will be advertised on Friday.

A man is wanted for a few days to do excavating work at Is 3d per hour. _ . A first-class ongmedriver, certificated, with experience of refrigerating and separator machinery, wants employment. Rest quality potatoes are on offer by, Alessrs. Gaudin and Co. at 9s, or 10s delivered.
