The Times’ Brussels correspondent says that the Congo scheme earns the mildest approval, oven of supporters of the Government. It is doubtful whether the Crown colony would pay if forced labor and other abuses were abolished. To purchase ICing Leopold’s interests would cost over a hundred million sterling.
