BRITISH COMMAND THE SITUATION. United Press Association—Copyright DURBAN, Dec 13 Colonel MaclCenzio has occupied all tlie commanding positions in Zululand, and columns iu - various directions are collecting the rebellious, reassuring loyalists. (Received Dec. 14, 4.50 p.m.) DURBAN, ■ Dec. 14. Colonel MacKcnzic noticed the absence of young men at Usuta and that no firearms were found, though it was understood -that previously they were plentiful. He warned the natives to deliver rebels and arms by to-morrow, otherwise tlie troops would take action. Tiie Native High Court at Pietermaritzburg fined Acting-Chief Quabel £SOO, besides sentencing him to 18 months’ imprisonment, on a charge of sedition. The accused was allowed bail pending an appeal to the Privy Council. •
