Fifty lambs, the gift of a.West Australian named Hollys, were distributed among the survivors of the. charge of the Light Brigade, and the Salvation and Church Armies. A sum of £7,500,000 was subscribed for metropolitan charities in 1907, besides hi-avv bequests.
