IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Locall Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” the Waiapu County Council hereby resolves as follows: “That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £SOO authorised to be raised by the Waiapu County Council under the provisions of the above-men-tioned Act, for the purpose of constructing in the Tokoniaru Riding, about 120 chains of the Waiau Road, including two bridges over the Mangaroa Stream, the Waiapu County Council do hereby make and levy a Special Rate of one-tenth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waiau Loan District, comprising the lands defined in the schedule hereto; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loau. and be payable yearly on the First day of July in each, and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years or until the loan is fully paid off.
