The Labor Department have an announcement in another column relating to tho statutory half-holiday. Present entries for the Matawhero stock sales to bo held to-morrow, appear in this issue. Mr Clias. Buscko advertises several special properties for sale in this issue. Messrs F. S. Malcolm and C'o. hold a sale of furniture at tho Mart, Loivo street to-day at 2 p.m. Messrs. Common, Shelton, -and Co. hold a clearing sale of stock at tho Te Karaka suleyards on Feb. 10th, oil behalf of Air. F. Patlullo, Rangatiru station.
