Next Monday the Opawa will arrive from South to load for London. Yesterday the scow Aloa arrived from Taina on her maiden visit, after a irood trip. She brought 131,090 ft of timber for Alcssrs. H.. J. Pc a cache and Co. The Hnnpiri arrives to-day from Napier, and sails later for coast pints and Auckland. The Monowai arrives this morning from Napier, and proceeds later to Auckland. The alterations to the ketch Coronation have now been completed, and ballasting operations wero carried on yesterdaj-. iihe sails this afternoon for Alercury Bay for a load of timber. Vesterday afternoon the schooner Awaimi was shifted to the Kaiti Wharf, where the remainder of her cargo of coal is to be discharged. It is hoped to finish discharge this afternoon! when t-lie vessel will sail for Auckland.

Owing to the wind being unfavorable yesterday the Keruru did not get away as expected. Directly tho wind is suitable she will leave for Tokomaru to load for Gisborne, calling en route at Pakarae and Tol-aga to load cargo. J Owing to rough weather rendering Tolaga unworkable the Tuatea which proceeded there to load wool was ordered back to Gisborne without any cargo, arriving a littlo-after 3 o’clock. The Squall arrived yesterday from Auckland, and started to unload 120 tons of Gisborne cargo, which Included transhipments from the latest steamer from Calcutta. .On this morning’s tide she went out into the Bay and transferred to the Haupiri 62 tons of cargo 'overcarried from Tolaga, after doing which she was to leave for Napier with 180 tons of cargo- __________
