Their destination is the Ruakura experimental station, where they will bo mated with imported bulls from the most approved milking strains. Mr. Clifton, the Chief Inspector of Stock, and Mr. Ross, the Inspector in charge of Hawke’s Bay district, who recently inspected the animals, 'have expressed themselves to the Minister for Agriculture in terms of saisfaction in regard to their appearance and quality. It is hoped that Mr. Donnelly’s generosity may prove an inspiration to other stock owners to act similarly to the- ultimate advantage of the dairying industry of New Zealand.
