AN EXCITING EXPERIENCE. Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Jan. 21. There was great excitement in Half Moon Bay, Stewart’s Island, last night, when tho Kckeno, a- small craft laden with pleasure-seekers, failed to make port after her trip to Port Adventure. A big gale was blowing directly out of the bay, and the Kekeno tried for four hours to get in. Sho lost some canvas and took water aboard, and then gave it up, and ran into Paterson’s Inlet, where sho spent tho night. This morning was fino and calm, and Half Moon Bay was reached shortly' after S a.m.
