In the French Chamber, during the debate on the Moroccan situation, M. Jaures "interrogated the Government regarding tlieir policy. A great feature of the debate was the dramatic intervention of M. Delcasse, in justification of his policy. He made a stirring protest against hesitations and timidities prompting Jaures and his followers to demand' the abandonment of the European mandate to Morocco.
