DEATH OF A WELL-KNOWN STOCK BREEDER.
Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Jan. 29. Mr. James Holmes, of AVamiabaka, m old and well-known stock-breeder, died this morning. Deceased used to manage tho Toviot strution, Otago, 01 'te"~v3 Cargill and Anderson, and iilisequeutly filled a similar position at Glen ham estate, Southland. As a breeder _of star k he was favorably 'known in the North.
