£O,OOO TO BE RAISED. Press Association. NAPIER, Jan. 29. A poll oh ratepayers was taken today to decide tho question of raising a loan of £6OOO for tho purpose of erecting salt water baths on the beat'll fronting the town. The proposal was carried by 25 votes, the figures being—for tho proposal 252, and against 227. Very littlo interest was taken in the poll.
