The State Premier states that h'is attention has been drawn to the fact that a number of Bulgarians who landed here are stranded and unable to get employment. It seems thus men of European extraction, mostly Bulgarians, are being induced by some person or persons to emigrate to New Zealand, and os far as can be ascertained they have been shipped bv German or French lines, but as they wore unable to pass the test, the shipping companies refused to carry them on to the Dominion and the} were left herd.
