SUCCESS ANTICIPATED.
Frees Association. NAPIER, Feb. 12.The executive of the Napier car--I jAval are arranging the biggest j . laori demonistration and sports ever j-i old in the province. Natives generi i dy are taking a keen interest in the' matter, and a great treat is promised ior visitors. Applications for accommodation are flowing in daily, and an immense* influx of visitors is anticipated. The military tournament will be y n an immense scale, the free passes ■ : sued by the Government being a ; l ig incentive to entrants. The rowing course for the cham--pionskip regatta has been reviewed! by several experts, and declared tes bo the finest in the Dominion. Altogether tho success of the carrival seems assured, and the to* i prize money, viz., £2550, is pro' a big draw. v b
