To-night outbreaks oi fire were discovered in no fewer .than six driI'eioiit places ill the business part oi the city, and -indications point to the fact that a band of mecn.J;ari*t» are at work. . In some instances kerosene and fat had been added to give the file.;, a .‘ood start. All the outbreaks wen. promptly suppressed, and the police have the niatt-ei in band.
