The ruins of Warded’s _ factory, which have been smouldering since the fire List Thursday night, began _to burn fiercely this morning, and the brigade had to get to work. lhe -shell of the building contained loft, or 20ft of debris, apparently consisting ma-inly of bricks and charred beams, and from this a dense cloud of smoke was rising, with an amount of force that indicated a strong fire underneath. ..There was no danger of the fire spreading, hut the smoke was a source of considerable annoyance to the. neighboring businesses.
