SCENE OF ENTHUSIASM AT PALMERSTON. Press Association. PALMERSTON, Feb. 24. The Butt-Rumford Concert- Company appeared at the Opera House last evening, receiving a .tremendous reception. iMadame Clara Butt gave several encore items, and at the termination of the last -item (a duet between Madame Butt- and Mr. Kennerlv Rumford) there was a storm of applause, the audience refusing to leave their seats until an encore was given.
