HOUSES UNDER WATER, RAILWAY TRAFFIC IMPEDED. United Press Association—Copyright (Received Feb. 24, 10.8 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 24. The low-lying country round Newcastle is inundated, and only the roofs of the houses are showing in certain localities. Railway traffic is impeded, throwing numbers of miners idle. Stock has been removed from farms lying along the Hunter river to tho highlands.
