Nomination Bs, acceptance 4s. 12.45 p.m. 2. MAIDEN RACE, of lOsovs; a District Race of 6 furlongs; weight for age. Nomination 10s. 1.30 p.m. 3. WAIAPU CUP, of 25sovs, second horse to receive 3 sovs from the stake. One mile and a half. Nomination 17s 6d, acceptance 7s 6d. s 2.15 p.m. 4. DISTRICT SCURRY, of 10 sovs, five furlongs; minimum weight 9st. Nomination 10s. 3 p.m. 5. FLYING HANDICAP, of 15 sovs, second horse to receive 2 sovs from the stakes. Six furlongs. Nomination 10s, acceptance ss. 3.45 p.m. 6. DISTRICT WELTER HANDICAP, of 13 sovs, second horse to receive 2 sovs from the stakes. One mile. Nomination IQs, acceptance 3s. Minimum weight lOst. 4.30 p.m. 7. FAREWELL HANDICAP, of 10 sovs. One mile. Nomination 10s. Post entry. CONDITIONS, / 1. Horses entering for district races to have been in the district, and the bona fide property of residents, at least three months previous to races. 2. Jockeys riding in races to wear colours. 3. Protests to be lodged with the Secretary in writing, within 15 minutes after the disputed event, accompanied with a deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if the prdfest be not sustained. 4. No nomination or acceptance will be entertained unless accompanied by necessary fees. 5. NOMINATIONS for 1,3, 5, and 6 Close on 22nd FEBRUARY, at Tuparoa Hotel at 8 p.m., and ACCEPTANCES for Same and NOMINATIONS for 2 and 4 close on the WEDNESDAY before the races, viz., 18th MARCH, at Tuparoa Hotel, at 8 p.m.' 6. All races to be run under Metropolitan rules. 7. Committee’s decision to be final. 8. Winner ol any race after the weights have been declared to carry a penalty of 71bs. Bookmakers’ fees, £5 ss. J.
